Three companies’ bonus shares are listed on Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE). On Sunday, Prabhu Insurance (PRIN), HIDCL and Swarojgar Laghubitta Financial Institution’s bonus shares were listed on NEPSE.
On this day,8 lakh 64 thousand 106.76 units of bonus shares of Prabhu Insurance were listed on NEPSE. The company had distributed 6.70 percent bonus shares to its shareholders from the profit of the last fiscal year. That bonus shares have been listed on NEPSE.
On this day, 1 crore 6 lakh 38 thousand 133.75 bonus shares of Hydroelectricity Investment Company Limited (HIDCL) have also been listed in NEPSE. The company had distributed 5 percent bonus shares from the profit of the last fiscal year. That bonus shares have been listed on NEPSE.
Similarly, 11 lakh 31 thousand 18.07 units of bonus shares of Swarojgar Laghubitta Financial Institution (SLBBL) were also listed on NEPSE. The microfinance had distributed 22 percent bonus shares to its shareholders from the profit of the last fiscal year. That bonus shares have been listed on NEPSE.
The bonus shares of all three companies can be bought and sold in the secondary market after they are credited to the demat accounts of the respective shareholders.
