Xiaomi, the renowned Chinese smartphone giant, has officially ventured into the electric vehicle (EV) market, unveiling its inaugural model, the SU7. This luxury sedan not only boasts exceptional performance and advanced features but also offers an impressive driving range, ensuring a thoroughly satisfying driving experience.

In compliance with regulatory filings, the SU7 provides consumers with two battery pack choices: a 73.6 kWh option and a higher-capacity 101 kWh variant. These batteries enable the SU7 to achieve an outstanding range of up to 668 kilometers and 800 kilometers, respectively. Notably, the car is equipped with an 800-Volt architecture, facilitating rapid charging and enhanced efficiency.

The SU7’s powertrain options include a single-motor rear-wheel drive system generating 295 horsepower and a dual-motor all-wheel drive system delivering an impressive 663 horsepower. Accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in under 4 seconds, the SU7 reaches a top speed exceeding 250 km/h, making it a powerful and dynamic addition to the EV market.

Manufactured by Beijing Automotive Industry Holding Co. (BAIC), a state-owned Chinese car maker, in collaboration with Xiaomi, the SU7 is set to hit the market in early 2024, whose production is already underway.

Xiaomi has introduced cutting-edge ‘Seat to Battery’ (CTB) technology, seamlessly integrating the battery into the car.
