The National Examination Board (NEB) has released the results of the class 12 examinations for the year 2023. The results were announced on Tuesday, August 15, 2023.
A total of 448,000 regular and upgraded students appeared for the exams. Of these, 51.91% were graded (passed), while 49.09% were ungraded.
This year’s pass percentage is 3 percentage points higher than last year’s. The NEB attributed the improvement to the hard work of the students and the teachers.

The result of NEB can be viewed from the websites of National Examination Board, Nepal Telecom and also through SMS and IVR.
The NEB has set a pass mark of 35%. Students who score less than 35% will be considered ungraded and will not be allowed to study at the higher level. They will have to retake the grade increase test.
The grade enhancement exam for students who have not been graded up to 2 subjects will be held on (Ashoj 6 and 7, 2080).
The NEB has also announced that the mark sheets for the class 12 examinations will be available online from August 15, 2023. Students can check their results on the NTC website, neb.ntc.net.np.
