Butwal Power Company Proposes 20% Dividend, When’s the Book Closure?

Butwal Power Company Limited (BPCL) has Proposed 20% Dividend to its shareholder. The company has called its 29th AGM on Poush 26. The meeting will be held in the bank’s registered office in Baneshwor, Kathmandu, starting at 11 am on Poush 26.

Among other agendas, the AGM will endorse a 20% dividend for the fiscal year 2077/78. The company has proposed 10% in bonus shares and 10% in cash dividends. The dividend will be distributed after endorsement by the upcoming AGM.

Poush 11 is the book closure date for AGM. Thus, shareholders maintained before that day are entitled to the dividend and can also attend the AGM.

BPCL closed at Rs. 438.60 yesterday.
