Rastriya Banijya Bank (RBB), the government-owned commercial bank in Nepal, has opened applications for 465 vacant posts. The bank is recruiting employees for four to nine-level posts. The application deadline is 30 Asar 2080 ( July 15), 2023.

The bank is looking to recruit 221 people from the open, 76 people from the women’s group, 59 people from the tribal tribes, 47 people from the Madhesi group, 28 people from the Dalit community and 15 people from the disabled community. Likewise, 19 posts are reserved for the backward areas.

The vacant positions include Senior Manager, Manager, Deputy Manager, Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager under Accounting Group, Legal Assistant Manager, Assistant Manager under Information Technology Group, Assistant Manager under Agriculture Group, and Assistant Manager under Cash Group.

Eligible candidates can apply online through the bank’s website. The application fee is NPR 200 for the open category and NPR 400 for the reserved categories.

To apply online, you will need to have the following documents:

  • Passport-size photograph with plain background with two ears clearly visible.(If the photo has extra space,crop to remove the extra space)
  • Scanned copy of your signature. ( Crop if there is extra space)
  • Scan copy of citizenship.
  • Scanned copy of the inclusion certificate to apply for the inclusion group.
  • Academic certificates (Transcript and Character Certificate) required according to the post applied for
  • Equivalent Certificate (if you have obtained an academic degree from a foreign university.)
  • Experience certificate for posts requiring experience
  • Appointment letter ( for employees working in National Commercial Bank only)


Once you have gathered these documents, you can follow these steps to apply online:

  • Go to the Rastriya Banijya Bank Career website: Rastriya Banijya Bank (https://recruitment.rbb.com.np/)
  • Click on the New Registration
  • Create an account by entering your Name, email address and other details.
  • After this, the verification link will be received in the relevant email (sometimes such emails go to the “JUNK or SPAM” folder, so check them as well). Click on that link to verify your user and keep a new password according to the mentioned criteria. If you lose your password, go to Login and click “Forgot Password?” You can reset your password from your email by clicking on
  •  After registration, log in to the application site using your email and password and fill in the required fields carefully on the form filling page and attach the necessary certificates and submit.
  • Documents to be uploaded should be in the format and size as mentioned. All documents should be clearly understood and printed.
  • According to bank, Online application form without a deposit of the prescribed amount shall not be considered as duly completed.
  • Application Approve, Reject or Cancel information can be viewed by logging in to the website and when filling the Application Form, an SMS will be received on the entered Mobile.
  • If the application is rejected, log in with your UserID once and click on Re-submit and re-submit only by making the necessary changes as written in the note.
  • If the online application form is filled by submitting false details or if the certificate is insufficient according to the details, the application form will be cancelled automatically.
  • Pay the application fee.
  • Submit your application.
  • You will receive an email confirmation once your application has been submitted.
  • Online application form without deposit of the prescribed amount shall not be considered as duly completed.

Method of Payment of Fees

  1. To make the payment, click on the option you want to pay from the options available in the “Fees Payment” tab of the application you have applied for. (If payment is made through other options except RBB Mobile Banking and Namaste Pay, the service fee will be charged as per the rules of the service provider.)
  2. Login using your Login ID and Password on the page that opens.
  3. After logging in, the OTP code will be sent to the registered mobile number via SMS. Place the code on the web page where payment is to be made and click on the “Pay” button.
  4. Information about payment success or not will be received by SMS on the entered Mobile when filling out the Application Form.
