This is the last day to secure dividend of Garima Development Bank and NLG Insurance. For the purpose of the general meeting, Garima is closing the book on Chaitra 4 and NLG is closing the book on Chaitra 6.
There is a public holiday of Holi festival on the 3rd of Chaitra and Nepse will also be closed. Therefore, the existing shareholders who have traded in Nepse till today will be able to participate in the general meetings of these companies and receive the dividends distributed by these companies.
The bank had announced to distribute 16 percent bonus shares of the paid up capital after receiving Sahara Development Bank. The bank has convened its 15th annual general meeting on Chaitra 18 to pass the same resolution. The bank has called a meeting at Hotel Pokhara Grand, Birauta, Pokhara at 10.30 am.
Similarly, NLG Insurance (NLG) has convened its 16th Annual General Meeting on Chaitra 17 at 10:30 am at Amrapali Banquet, Baluwatar.
The insurance company had proposed to give 10 percent bonus to the share holder from the last financial year’s profit.
The meeting will pass 10 percent bonus share and 0.53 percent cash dividend for tax purposes to the shareholders from the last financial year’s profit.
After the distribution of 10 percent bonus shares to the shareholders, the paid up capital of the company will reach Rs 1 arba 32 crore 66 Lakh.
