Nepal Police has announced vacancy for the post of Police Inspector and Police Assistant Inspector in Janpath Police. Nepali citizens who meet the following qualifications can apply for the vacant post.

Position: Police Inspector

Total Post: 96

• Application Process: Candidates interested in the position of Police Inspector should apply online through the Online Recruitment Management System (ORMS) of Nepal Police.

Application Form (Revenue/Fee):

1. Online Application Fee: Rs. 1,200/-.
2. Additional Fee for Mixed Group Applicants: An extra 20% (i.e., Rs. 240/-) for each group.

Police Inspector Age Limit:

General Age Limit: Between 20 to 25 years as of the last application date.

Minimum Qualification

• Must be a Nepalese citizen.
• Educational Qualification: At least Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university.
• Not having been convicted of any criminal offense involving moral turpitude,
• Not having been convicted of human rights and humanitarian law violations, not being a member of a political party,
• Not being a member of a terrorist organization,
• Height, Chest and Weight:
• (a) Male height 5 feet 2 inches, chest 31-33, weight 50 kg. –
• (b) Female – Height less than 5 feet, weight not less than 42 kg.
• Eyes not weaker than minus 2 or plus 2,
• Obtained a health certificate from an approved doctor designated by the Nepal Police Headquarters
• (to be conducted during the examination),

Position: Assistant Police Inspector

Total Post: 260

Nepal Police Vacancy Application Process:

• Candidates applying for the post of Assistant Inspector of Police will have to apply by affixing a ticket of Rs.10/- (in person).
• Applications can be submitted during office hours except on public holidays.

Application Form (Revenue/Fee): Rs. 500/-.
Additional Fee for Multiple Group Applicants: 20% Extra (i.e., Rs. 100/-) for each group

ASI Age Limit:

General Age Limit: Between 18 to 24 years as of the last application date.

Minimum Qualification:

1. Educational Qualification: Must have passed certificate level (10+2) or equivalent from a recognized university or educational institution.
2. Other Qualifications: Candidates must fulfill the criteria listed from serial number (2) to (9) under the Police Inspector requirements.
